Marza Animation Planet is a computer video and animation studio based in the Shinagawa ward of Tokyo, Japan. The studio was formally established in April 2006 as the Visual Entertainment R&D Department within Sega. It was spun off in July 2009 as Sega-Sammy Visual Entertainment. The company took its current name in July 2010, and became fully independent in March 2011.
